Michelle (she/her) grew up with salmon on the senses and imprinted on the ocean. She has a background in evolutionary genetics, a keen interest in biosciences and genetics of all kinds, and diverse professional experience in research, teaching, science communication, and outreach. With Sentinels, Michelle aims to enable collaborative magic between team members while bridging resources at Hakai and UBC in support of the Project’s goals.
