An ecological statistician, Deirdre (she/her) develops bespoke models to understand the effects of climate change on ecological communities. She collaborates across themes within the Sentinels Alliance Project to study the relationships between habitat connectivity and biodiversity processes; with an aim to unifying ecological understanding across scales. Based at UBC Vancouver in the O'Connor Lab, Deirdre is co-advised by Mary O'Connor, Alyssa Gehman, and Matt Lemay
